2020 Judicial Election Guide

On March 17, voters in Illinois will go to the polls for the 2020 primary election. Among other, more prominent races, they’ll find dozens of contests for judges at the circuit, appellate and supreme court level.

Judges play a critical and powerful role in society. But many voters know little about the people at the bottom of their ballot.

For that reason, every election cycle, Injustice Watch compiles a voter guide with information about the people running for judge—and those running to retain their seats on the bench—in Cook County. We search public documents, scour judicial records, and compile bar association ratings to provide the most in-depth guide to Cook County voters. We don’t make recommendations or endorsements. Rather, we provide as much information as we can so voters can make an informed decision.

Our guide for the March 2020 judicial primaries will be out in the first week of March. To make sure you don’t miss it, use the form below to sign up for our newsletter.
