Aura Bogado

Aura Bogado reports on immigration. Before joining Injustice Watch in 2025, she was a senior investigative reporter at The Center for Investigative Reporting, a staff writer at Grist, and a news editor at Colorlines. Her work has earned her a Murrow Award, a Hillman Prize, and an IRE medal. She was a 2021 USC Center for Health Journalism Data Fellow and a 2022 Andrew Carnegie Fellow. Her reporting has also appeared in the Los Angeles Times, Teen Vogue, and PBS NewsHour. Aura is currently working on a book about migrant children.
