As part of our effort to ensure everyone can access comprehensive, nonpartisan information about the upcoming Cook County judicial elections, Injustice Watch has printed 150,000 copies of our judicial election guide to distribute throughout the county.
Nearly two dozen staff members, contractors and community volunteers are distributing copies of our guide to nearly 400 locations throughout Cook County. You can find our guide at libraries, coffee shops, laundromats, gas stations, courthouses, and civic organizations. We’re also delivering to senior apartment buildings, food pantries, and the Cook County Jail, where people in custody are voting this week. And we’ll hand out guides at the Logan Square Farmers Market on October 20 and 27.
We’ve also partnered with local media organizations to distribute our guide as an insert in upcoming issues. You can find it in the October 16 issues of the Riverside Brookfield Landmark, Forest Park Review, Austin Weekly News, and Wednesday Journal of Oak Park and River Forest. And it will be in the October 24 issues of the Hyde Park Herald, South Side Weekly, and Chicago Reader. An abridged version of our guide in Spanish will appear in the October 18 issue of La Raza.
Scroll down for a map of distribution points. We’ll continue to update this map as our team drops off guides throughout the county. Inclusion on this map does not guarantee that copies are still available, so pick one up as soon as you can!
